The North Carolina State Medical Examiner has ruled the death of Carlos Aristoteles a homicide after a groundskeeper discovered his partially buried body on a nature trail at Catawba College in Salisbury in June.
An autopsy report determined Aristoteles had been shot and stabbed multiple times.
