Columbia, S.C. (WACH) — A domestic violence call Saturday morning set in motion a chain of events that ended with a Columbia police officer dead, another wounded and the suspect killed, authorities said.
Officer Christopher DeLong, 29, was killed in the shooting at Southeast Park. Officer David Dymock was also shot and has since been released from the hospital, according to Columbia police.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the shooting, and Columbia police officials say they are limited in what they can disclose while that investigation continues…
