Wegmans Food Markets Inc. announced plans for its first Pittsburgh-area location, according to a community announcement.
The approximately 115,000-square-foot store will be part of the Cranberry Springs development in Cranberry Township, according to the announcement. The store will be located on a 13-acre site on Cool Springs Drive, adjacent to the UPMC Lemieux Sport Complex.
Wegmans will hire 400 to 500 employees
The store will feature a variety of departments, including produce, seafood, meat, bakery, deli and cheese, as well as a large selection of wine and beer.
