The Sand Branch fire in Dallas County is fully contained, but the fire is renewing concerns about illegal dumping, burning and a lack of resources in the unincorporated community.
Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price said at least 13 landowners are being put on notice to clean up their properties. They will have 30 days to respond before county commissioners could consider further action.
