Local towing companies on edge after business owners killed at work

TULSA, Okla. – People in the towing business are on edge after a man and his wife who owned a towing company were shot and killed last week. Police arrested a man accused of killing the couple following a fight over his car being impounded.

Industry reaction

Cheyenne Haubert, whose family owns A&W Towing, said no one should lose their life over doing their job. She said towing companies can get a bad reputation, but workers are simply doing what they’re told, and most try to work with customers.
