City Council to vote on Development Authority in OCC

(COLORADO SPRINGS)– The Colorado Springs City Council is considering a proposal to dissolve the Old Colorado City Downtown Development Authority.

Voters approved the creation of the authority less than two years ago to support revitalization in the historic district. However, organizers were unable to secure the funding needed to finance the entity, leading the City Council to debate scrapping the organization before it submits a formal plan for approval.
