STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A New Jersey man was pronounced dead in the hospital a week after he was in a crash on a motorcycle, the coroner said.
Albert R. VanRiper III, 71, of Montville, New Jersey, was pronounced dead at 12:32 a.m. Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, according to the Lehigh County Coroner.
Multiple tractor-trailers crash on I-80
The coroner said VanRiper was the driver of a motorcycle that was in a crash with a vehicle the night of Tuesday, Aug. 25, on Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg.
