“Drive of Destruction”
What New York State Police say happened across parts of the Capital Region on Friday morning sounds almost too bizarre to be true.
In less than 40 minutes, an Albany woman allegedly traveled across the area, stopping her car in traffic, getting out with a tire iron and damaging vehicles belonging to complete strangers.
According to the NYSP, she did it five separate times.
33-Year-Old Albany Woman Arrested
According to the report, 33-year-old Davia D. Morrison of Albany was arrested following a series of incidents on August 28th that stretched from Albany to Guilderland.
- Police say the first happened around 9:13 a.m. on Southern Boulevard in Albany.
- Six minutes later, another incident was reported on I-787 southbound.
- Then came I-90 westbound at approximately 9:30 a.m., followed by I-87 southbound in Guilderland around 9:37 a.m.
- Finally, at approximately 9:48 a.m., police say another vehicle was targeted on Crossgates Mall Road.
