FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A “pay what you can” café opened in downtown Fort Wayne on Tuesday.
The Sparrow Café is located inside Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 West Washington Blvd., and offers soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts prepared by chef Lindi Miller. The menu will feature fresh food, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, each day.
The menu pricing is based on suggested donations, with patrons paying the suggested donation, or more if they’d like, or donating their time as a volunteer for a short shift at the café…
