Former School IT Tech Gets Up to 8 Years in CSAM Case

HARRISBURG, PA — A former contracted IT technician for Peters Township School District was sentenced Monday to four to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to two felony counts of sexual abuse of children in a case involving child sexual abuse material found at his home, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

Jason Wayne Ayres, 48, was sentenced by a Washington County judge. The Attorney General’s Office stated that the charged conduct did not involve students in the school district.
