Court records name 39-year-old suspect in Kalamazoo arson investigation

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The identity of the man accused of setting a string of small fires across Kalamazoo over the weekend has been revealed.

Court records identify the suspect as 39-year-old Mikel Jovan Isaac of Kalamazoo.

Isaac is facing six charges, four of which are felonies and two are misdemeanors. It’s after investigators say five fires were intentionally set at different locations across the city Friday night into early Saturday morning.
