The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association’s Junior Board recently had a meeting. We sat down with Bailey Watson of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association to learn more.
“This past weekend we held our first annual meeting with our Alabama Junior Cattlemen’s Association Board of Directors, and our Board of Directors is just our leadership team,” Watson said.
“It’s a group of youth that are leaders for the Alabama Junior Cattlemen’s Association, so I have 11 of them. It’s composed of youth across the state, so we brought them all to Montgomery this weekend to kick off their first meeting of the year, and we kind of started by going over, you know, their expectations and such for the year and what they can expect for being a Junior Board of Director, but then we also got to do some fun things. So, after we got all of our meetings out of the way, we went to Kickback Ranch, and they were able to enjoy some of their time there, and then we actually, on Saturday, had a parliamentary procedure workshop that was hosted by the Alabama State FFA officers, and that was a great workshop,” added Watson…
