A woman was injured Monday night when an ICE vehicle ran over her foot outside Newark’s Delaney Hall detention center, according to fellow attendees of a prayer vigil at the facility.
The incident occurred at about 8:20 p.m. near the sidewalk at the northern, or main, entrance to the federal immigrant detention facility along Doremus Avenue, said Charlene Walker, executive director of Faith in New Jersey.
