ROANOKE, Va. – A man was arrested and one person was injured following a shooting incident that occurred in Roanoke on Monday, Roanoke Police Department said.
RPD said they responded to the 1300 block of Orange Avenue NW on Monday after receiving reports of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they found the victim and provided medical assistance. The victim was taken to the Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition.
Authorities said they soon obtained information regarding a suspect during the investigation. On Tuesday, RPD arrested 30-year-old Richard Eary. He has been charged with malicious wounding and is now being held at the Roanoke City Adult Detention Center…
