Tuesday marks the first day that San Diegans can hail a public ride in an autonomous Waymo vehicle.
Waymo is expanding its service across the country to include San Diego, Tampa and Denver starting September 1.
The company says thousands of residents in the San Diego area are already signed up Waymo’s services, and new riders will be invited “on a rolling basis.”…
