(KRON) — Eleven months to the day, Sunshine Borjas left her Santa Rosa home to go hiking at Bodega Head. The 47-year-old woman never returned home and remains missing. Her story is among 19 missing person cold cases highlighted by the Santa Rosa Police Department in recent weeks.
Santa Rosa police said its “Missing Person Monday” social media campaign has led to the resolution of 18 missing adult cold cases since it began in 2024. With its latest round of cold case postings, which began on Aug. 3, SRPD said it received information to confirm that four of the featured missing adults were alive and no longer needed to be in the missing persons database.
