James Talarico, Tommy Calvert and Barbara Gervin-Hawkins Will Join a Black Leadership Town Hall Focused on Issues Affecting San Antonio’s African American Community
Texas Democratic U.S. Senate nominee James Talarico will join Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Calvert and State Rep. Barbara Gervin-Hawkins Wednesday for a Black Leadership Town Hall on San Antonio’s East Side.
D2 Strong will host the Sept. 2 event at the Zernona Black Center, 333 Martin Luther King Drive . Doors open at 3 p.m., with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments available.
Organizers say Talarico and Calvert will participate in a fireside chat centered on issues affecting Americans, Texans and the African American community. Attendees will also have an opportunity to engage directly with the two elected officials following the discussion…
