Music and history lovers, get ready! Bossier City’s Louisiana Boardwalk is about to get an epic boost of live music, culture, and pure energy. We finally know where the legendary Louisiana Grandstand will call its new permanent home.
Local favorites Mus Gillium and Dan Smalley recently took the stage to announce that this incredible musical experience is officially moving right to the riverfront.
Since debuting in 2019, the Louisiana Grandstand has built a national reputation for intimate, acoustics-first shows, hosting big-name acts like Zach Top, Jordan Davis, Kix Brooks, Marty Stuart, and the Red Clay Strays. Now, they are kicking off a multi-phase expansion at the Boardwalk, starting with The Parish Standard, set to open in November 2026!
Taking over the former Joe’s Crab Shack space, The Parish Standard will feature a 220-seat restaurant and dedicated listening room designed with one rule in mind: music comes first. Inspired by the charm of the New Orleans Garden District, it will offer Louisiana-inspired counter-service fare and craft cocktails by day, before transforming into an intimate, ticketed concert space on weekend nights.
