SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – An 81-year-old retired pastor arrested during a protest at the Greene County Jail is no longer allowed to visit inmates, according to Interim Sheriff Jason Johnson.
Johnson said Robert Perry cannot volunteer at the jail until the sheriff can “trust him to follow the rules.”

Perry has visited inmates at the jail since November. He is fluent in Spanish, which he said is part of the reason he has visited dozens of ICE detainees. His kidney cancer is in remission.
