BENTON, Kan. (KWCH) — The Benton Police Department is investigating an alleged battery that took place at Stearman Field Bar and Grill on Friday.
The investigation began after a customer posted about an experience she had at the restaurant while celebrating her two-year-old daughter’s birthday.
The woman said a server brought out an ice cream cup with a candle for her daughter to blow out. She said that while her daughter was attempting to blow out the candle, a man approached the child, kissed her on the cheek and blew out the birthday candle himself…
