IRETON—One person received minor injuries when his vehicle rear-ended another about 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, on 420th Street, five miles northwest of Ireton.
Sixty-eight-year-old Cheryl Ann Byker of Ireton was driving a 2004 Buick Le Sabre towing a 1992 Gehl 3310 skid loader west when she stopped on the blacktop and was struck from behind by a 2025 Chevrolet Trax driven by 26-year-old Tyus Eugene Arends of Sioux Falls, SD, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
