RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A man is facing third degree arson charges after the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office says he is connected to a brush fire in north Reno.
The WCSO says that over the weekend, deputies saw a vehicle enter the roadway from a vacant dirt lot off the roundabout at Dandini Blvd and Spectrum without its headlights on. Deputies then reported seeing a small brush fire in the area the car had just exited.
The fire was extinguished and the source of the fire appeared to consist of multiple split wooden logs stacked in a teepee formation in the surrounding sagebrush…
