Driver, 14, fled cops at over 100 mph in stolen BMW, Pierce deputies say

Three teenage boys were arrested Saturday in connection to multiple car prowls after leading police on a chase exceeding 100 miles an hour, Pierce County deputies said.

At around 7:30 a.m. Saturday, a sheriff’s deputy saw a white BMW SUV driving recklessly on southbound Pacific Avenue South, the Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook.

The vehicle was weaving between cars at high speeds, seemingly racing another dark-colored vehicle headed the same direction, the post said. Police later learned its occupants included a 14-year-old driving the car, as well as a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old passenger…
