GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A family-owned market is closing its doors after struggling with rising costs for more than a year.

Christy Umfleet and her family have owned and operated the Town & Country Meat & Produce Market for nearly 40 years. Her father opened the market in 1989.

Their store along West Vandalia Road in Greensboro is set to close its doors on Sept. 30.
