Ohio leads the nation with four schools in top 25 party schools ranking

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Just in time for the start of the academic year, an annual ranking of the top party schools in America for 2027 has been released, with multiple universities in Ohio landing in the top 25.

The list, compiled by education research platform Niche, defines top party schools as “colleges that have a vibrant and diverse party scene — they offer fun options both on and off campus, and students rate their peers as being fun, friendly, and into partying.”

To create the rankings, researchers considered several factors, with student survey responses accounting for 70% of the total score. Additional criteria included access to bars at 10%, campus athletics and Greek life, 7.5% each and the availability of nearby restaurants at 5%.
