Nampa police show neighbors LPRs amid growing privacy concerns

Neighbors in Nampa voiced their questions and privacy concerns at an open house hosted by the Nampa Police Department. NPD opened the doors to their real-time crime center Tuesday night, giving residents a firsthand look at the surveillance technology the department uses.

The open house began with an informational meeting where officers explained how the cameras are used and walked through specific cases where the surveillance technology helped to solve crimes.
