HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Charlotte man died after their vehicle overturned while trying to evade law enforcement along Highway 17 in Horry County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday near the Georgetown County line, according to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt. Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard identified the driver as Jerry Lynch Jr., 47. Four others in the 2004 Jaguar — including three juveniles — were injured in the crash.
