Warren man sentenced to 15-31 years for repeatedly assaulting minor

(WJET/WFXP)– The Warren man who pleaded guilty to raping a child several times and exchanging inappropriate messages over the course of several months will spend over a decade in prison.

The Warren County District Attorney’s Office said 27-year-old Trevor Lester of Erie was sentenced to 15 years and 11 months to 31 years and 10 months in prison, followed by 12 years of supervised release this week.

Lester previously pleaded guilty to one count of rape of a child and two counts of statutory sexual assault during his last appearance in Warren County Court on May 7, where it was determined he would be required to register as a sexually violent predator for the rest of his life once released.

Lester was charged in September 2025 with 22 counts of felony charges after the victim’s mother reported Lester and the victim’s messages over social media to Warren police from February 2025 to May 2025…
