The summer pattern continues with scattered showers and thunderstorms bring a little cooling relief to sun-baked areas.
Showers with isolated thunderstorms over northeast Florida and portions of southeast Georgia will continue to move inland through early evening. Coastal showers will be possible through late evening and overnight.
Some thunderstorms may be locally heavy, with gusty wind and lightning. The rain and storms will begin to wind down around 5 – 6 p.m. Most will wrap up around sunset. The onshore breeze could carry a few showers to our beaches and coastal counties through the night…
