The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian early Wednesday.
JSO said it happened around 3 a.m. near Wingate and Capper roads, just east of the Florida State College at Jacksonville North Campus.

Police said “the SUV drove away without providing any information or calling for help for the pedestrian.”
She was taken to the hospital, but she later died, JSO said…
