(FOX40.COM) — Nearly two years after announcing plans to sell and lease back its Folsom campus, the technology company confirmed Wednesday it has called off the sale.
“After careful consideration, Intel has decided not to move forward with the sale and partial leaseback of our Folsom site,” an Intel spokesperson told FOX40 in an email. “We remain committed to the Folsom campus and have determined that retaining ownership best supports our long-term objectives.”
After cutting hundreds of jobs at the site, Intel announced in November 2024 it would sell the 161.78-acre campus as part of a company-wide mission to reduce unused space and “foster greater in-person collaboration.”…
