This offseason, the LBJ Wolves knew they needed to change how they approached their pre-district slate.
“We talked about if we wanted to contend for the district title and be up there with the teams in our district, we needed tougher opponents,” Wolves head coach Leo Mireles said. “We knew that we could have our work cut out for ourselves, but what other way would you want it?”
