The City of Denton Streets Department will micro surface select streets across the community from Sept. 9 through Sept. 29 as part of the city’s preventive maintenance program.
Micro surfacing is used on streets that are still in good condition to help preserve pavement quality and extend the roadway’s lifespan. The work will include both residential streets and major arterials.
Residents may see single-lane or full street closures while crews are working, depending on the location and scope. Each micro surfacing segment typically takes 4–6 hours and will be applied between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m…
