FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne Police are investigating a crash southeast of downtown Fort Wayne that was caused by a drunk driver.
Police responded to the 1600 block of Lewis Street in response to reports of a crash on Wednesday evening.
FWPD told WANE 15 personnel on scene that they believe a drunk driver in a pickup truck ran over a tree, hit a parked car, and then lost the lawn mower and bicycle in the truck bed along the road.
The driver traveled about three blocks to the west before coming to a stop near the intersection of Lewis Street and South Anthony Boulevard. Police did not provide the condition of the driver…
