FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A First Alert Weather Day is in effect Thursday as hot conditions combine with a conditional severe weather threat.
Heat index values are expected to exceed 100 degrees during the late afternoon and evening hours. This is comparable to the heat we experienced just two days ago on Tuesday.
Additionally, the Storm Prediction Center has placed Allen County and areas to the north in a Level 2 (Slight) Risk for severe weather. We’re monitoring a potential complex of storms that, if strong to severe, could bring strong winds to the region…
