GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — More women are being diagnosed with lung cancer, and they’re women who never smoked.
“I went into the emergency room thinking I had a heart attack, but they said … your heart is fine, but you have a spot on your lung,” lung cancer survivor Lynn Sametz said.
In early 2017, Sametz was immediately sent to undergo tests to see if the spot on her lung was cancer.
“Everybody is thinking, ‘She can’t have lung cancer. She’s physically fit. She eats right. Maybe it’s something else,” she said…
