Hopewell United Methodist Church recently celebrated the opening of its new sanctuary in Simpsonville.
The 5,774-square-foot sanctuary was constructed to accommodate the church’s growing congregation at its Neely Ferry Road campus. The more than 225-year-old church held its first service in the sanctuary on Aug. 2.
“This new sanctuary is about much more than a building,” said Rev. Don Brown, pastor of Hopewell United Methodist Church. “It is a place where people will gather to worship, grow in faith, find belonging and serve our community.”…
