It’s been just over a week since Dolly Parton left the world significantly less rhinestone-studded, but the mourning period is not over.
Regal theaters are celebrating the award-winning entertainment and philanthropist’s life and legacy with screenings of Steel Magnolias and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas nationwide. Tickets are priced at $9.25, to honor Parton’s hit song “9 to 5” (from the movie of the same name). And 100 percent of the ticket sales will go to The Dollywood Foundation, home of Parton’s Imagination Library.
