BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) – Wednesday, the McLean County Regional Planning Commission heard the results of a two-year effort to improve Veterans Parkway.
The preferred plan for Veterans Parkway from Chicago-based consultants who are working on the project calls for added walking and bike paths on either side of the road.
They also proposed slightly shrinking lanes for cars to encourage slower driving. This could add two to four minutes to travel time for cars…
