Six months ago, Attorney General Ken Paxton accused the Texas Medical Board of trampling the rights of Dr. Mary Talley Bowden over her treatment of a COVID-19 patient.
Paxton’s office intervened in Bowden’s lawsuit against the board, sided with the Houston doctor and asked a judge to void a public reprimand the licensing board had imposed on her.
