TEXARKANA, Ark. (KTAL/KMSS) – A motorcycle rider is dead and police are searching for a driver who they say fled a fiery crash.
Texarkana, Arkansas, police say an officer found a man apparently unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle around 9:30 Wednesday night, near State Line Avenue and Texas Boulevard.
Police say the vehicle appeared to still be in drive, with the driver’s foot on the brake. As the officer attempted to make contact with the driver and have him place the vehicle in park, the driver became alert and suddenly accelerated away from the officer…
