COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A new nonprofit is working to bring an adult day program to Colorado Springs for people living with dementia and other forms of cognitive decline.
A Place Like Home plans to open in a former preschool on West Cheyenne Road. The program would provide a safe place for adults who cannot be left home alone while giving their caregivers time to work, run errands, attend appointments or simply take a break.
