Los Angeles County authorities said they’re working to identify a young girl and a man whose bodies were mysteriously found in the same channel several miles apart.
The girl was located on Tuesday and the man was discovered on Wednesday, but their deaths are being investigated as two separate incidents as no connection has been established, the LA County Sheriff’s Department said at a news conference.
The girl’s body was found floating in the channel at the Dominguez Channel Bike Path in Carson, a city about 15 miles south of downtown LA, the sheriff’s department said.
