Turns out, the trash trucks deserve a long weekend, too.
Plant City residents get a break from more than the office this Labor Day. With Monday, Sept. 7, marking the holiday, the city’s solid waste crews are taking the day too: no residential trash, recycling, or yard waste pickup Monday, with normal service resuming the rest of the week. Yard waste collection will stay the same, Wednesday, Sept. 9. Commercial customers on Monday-Tuesday routes will see their pickup pushed to Tuesday, then back to normal…
