(FOX40.COM) — California’s oldest resident, the second-oldest person in the United States at the time of her death, has passed away.
Ilse Gertrud Meingast died Aug. 23 in the Sonoma County city of Cotati, according to the Gerontology Research Group. She was the 114 years and 162 days old.
