Lehigh County man convicted of raping woman he claimed had ‘fallen out’ of car: DA

A Lehigh County jury Thursday convicted a 43-year-old man in a 2024 rape, prosecutors said.

Erik Contes, of Whitehall Township, is guilty of rape by forcible compulsion, kidnapping to facilitate a felony and sexual assault, all felonies, in addition to misdemeanor indecent assault, according to a news release from the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
