BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — During Wednesday night’s thunderstorms and winds, which stretched across Western New York and Southern Ontario, Toronto’s Rogers Stadium suffered what the “Toronto Star” cited as “significant damage,” publishing video alongside the report showing the aftermath of the havoc, including damaged seats and collapsed videoboards.
Large swaths of the concert venue were destroyed, though the “Toronto Star” reported no stadium employees were injured in the incident. The sign outside the stadium was also damaged in the storm.
Rock band AC/DC is slated for a show at Rogers Stadium on Sept. 16, though the venue has not yet commented on whether the concert will continue as scheduled or provided an update on social media…
