A Costco appears to be headed to Thompson’s Station, following comments made during a recent Williamson Inc. policy talk featuring mayors from Brentwood, Franklin, Thompson’s Station, Spring Hill and Fairview.
Thompson’s Station Mayor Brian Stover addressed long-standing rumors about a Costco coming to the area during the meeting. Asked directly whether the discount retailer would open a location there, he simply said, “Yes.”
According to Stover, GBT purchased roughly 50 acres in Thompson’s Station at 4521 Columbia Pike, across from Mars Petcare. HCA has since purchased a parcel of that land from GBT, and Costco is expected to buy another parcel to develop a store of its own…
