(FOX40.COM) — A former firearms dealer operating in Stockton has been arrested for stealing firearms and drug possession, officials announced Thursday. About 440 firearms were recovered from the man’s home.
33-year-old Joseph Gogna, of Stockton, is a former licensed firearms dealer who operated a local firearms business. The Stockton Police Department alleges Gogna “misappropriated firearms entrusted to him by members of the public.”
An investigation found Gogna had accepted firearms on consignment and allegedly failed to provide the owners with any proceeds after the firearms were sold. In other instances, Gogna took people’s firearms and sold them without the owner’s knowledge or permission, Stockton police said…
