A former Ford Chicago Assembly Plant worker who spent five years as a lead operator has sued the automaker, alleging workplace harassment and retaliation. According to the complaint, she was recognized for her work and raised concerns about an alleged production-line defect before being fired weeks later.
According to a report by the Human Resources Director, the worker alleges in her complaint that a supervisor began pursuing a personal relationship with her in 2023, but she eventually ended it. She alleges that after he returned to her work area in mid-2024, his behavior changed, including ignoring her and communicating with her through coworkers even when she was nearby.
She also claims he referred to her as “Ken.” When she reportedly brought the matter to another manager, that manager allegedly responded with a sexually explicit comment instead of addressing her complaint…
